SPR 2 2025 Adult Int: Thurs 4:00-4:45

Our Adult Intermediate lessons is for teens and adults who want to improve their foundational skills and swimming strokes to gain an overall level of comfort in the water. It seeks to improve participants’ proficiency in basic aquatic skills (including rotary breathing, surface dives and treading) and the six basic strokes (i.e., front crawl, back
crawl, butterfly, breaststroke, elementary backstroke, and sidestroke). (The butterfly stroke is optional.) These lessons are taught by a certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor who guides the par?cipant through different lessons
and work outs that have been designed to improve and build on existing skill sets. Participants also learn skills and
concepts needed to be safe around the water, in addition to those needed to help themselves or others in an aquatic
emergency.
